Notts County have been dealt a blow after new loan signing Danny Crow fractured a metatarsal in their loss at Bury. The on-loan Peterboro man will likely miss two months and will not play for the Magpies again in his loan spell. Bury have loaned striker James Dean to Altrincham for a month. Dean, 22, is a former British kickboxing champion.
A buyer for ailing Northwich Victoria has come forward. Jim Rushe, the owner of a side in the Mid-Cheshire league, plans to cut the budget and run his existing side as the Vics' reserve side. Darlington have signed Bolton winger Johann Smith on a months loan. The US born 20 year old has first team experience from a three month spell at Carlisle last season.
