Hereford United manager Graham Turner has spoken to the League Leader about striker Trevor Benjamin, who received the Powerade League Two player of the month award last week.
"Trevor seems to have been around for ever and it wasn't so long ago that he was costing £1.5M when he moved to Leicester from Cambridge. People forget he is only 29.
"He has got a great physical presence about him. He is a big strong player and, sometimes at this level, you need that.
"Trevor has been very effective for us so far and we're hoping that will continue."
There seems to be some dispute over how old Benjamin is. Turner says 29, but www.soccerbase.com say that he is only 28. They report that he was born on Feb 8th 1979. The Hereford United Official Website has the same date of birth.
