MK Dons were adjudged to have had 54% of the possession at Edgar Street against 46% for Hereford.
There were four chances on target for the Bulls and eight for the Dons and just one corner for the Bulls against four for the visitors.
Other than Guinan's red card no other player was booked.
One statistic that will please Graham Turner was the size of the gate, 3936, which is the highest of the season at Edgar Street to date. Out of that number just 369 were in the MK Dons end suggesting that over 3,500 were Hereford supporters. That is about 1,000 more than at recent home games.
