Two former Bulls, Andy Williams and Alan Connell, scored for their new teams this afternoon.
Williams came on a sub for Bristol Rovers and scored his first goal for his new club away at Port Vale. With just 13 minutes to go Williams fired home 'a poacher's goal' from six yards out.
At Brentford Connell scored with a 'piledriver' to put the Bees ahead on 14 minutes against Mansfield.
However neither player was on the winning side as both the games were drawn.
Not such good news about former Hereford United captain Tony James. He took a 'whack on his knee' in the first minute of his teams game at Histon and was subbed after nine minutes. He may miss several games.
