Theo Robinson gave a useful display at Edgar Street last evening and could be next on Graham Turner's shopping list.
Robinson missed the last friendly because of an injury but Turner said at the time that he hoped to see him in action again. Robinson returned to Watford for treatment and, judging on last evening, appeared to have shaken off any problems.
His partnership with Steve Guinan was one of the highlights of the game. When they, and several others, were replaced during the second half the rhythem of the game was lost.
And Robinson may have done his prospects little harm by bringing Toumani Diagouraga with him.
Meanwhile a few supporters have remarked that the stewarding at the friendly games this pre-season has been tightened up. Perhaps a few notes from the club as to the 'new' rules might not go amiss.
