Three bidders have made offers for Mansfield. Amongst them is current non-executive chairman James Derry. Owner Keith Haslam has not publically stated his asking price for the club, but it is believed to be into seven figures.

Chester are to sign winger Adam Walker. The youngster has impressed during a trial after leaving Altrincham. Morecambe have signed defender Damien Allen to replace long term injury victim Fraser McLachlan.

Peterboro director of football Barry Fry has told the local press that manager Darren Ferguson still has money available to make more signings if he wants to. The club have spent around £2million on players already this year. Macclesfield have extended midfielder Levi Reid's contract until the end of the year after he impressed during his initial months contract. The club have also given Gareth Evans a one month contract after he initially signed on non-contract terms.
