Ambulance Service Show Disappointment

The Ambulance Service has shown disappointment at Graham Turner's post match comments regarding the amount of time it took the service to respond to assist Michael Wylde.

The service disputes Turner's claims that it took 45 minutes for an ambulance to arrive, noting that the ambulance was on-site after 19 minutes and the player was in hospital ten minutes later.

The Ambulance Service has emailed the club to express their disappointment at what they feel are inaccurate comments.

UPDATE 1pm: The West Midlands Ambulance Service has issued the following statement:

The Ambulance Service received the initial call at 16:23hrs to Hereford
United football Club, the Ambulance arrived at the Ground at 16:42hrs, the
vehicle left the ground with the patient at 16:49 hrs arriving at hospital
at 16:52 hrs. The patient was in hospital 29 minutes after the initial call.
The Ambulance service would like to thank the St Johns and Hereford United
medical staff for the excellent patient care provided whilst the Ambulance
was on route.
