News Round Up

Setanta have announced the first round of live matches from the Conference. Unsurprisingly Oxford have six matches televised in the period up to the end of October, with three sides - including Kidderminster - not covered at all.

Bury are set to sign former Accrington forward Andrew Mangan. The former Blackpool trainee started just 15 games in two years for Stanley, but came off the bench 60 times. The club have lost the services of defender Chris Brass, who has opted to sign for Hyde. Notts County have signed midfielder Richard Butcher from Peterboro for an undisclosed fee. The 25 year old was deemed surplus to requirements at London Road following Darren Ferguson's arrival as manager.

Former Shrewsbury defender Sagi Burton, linked with the Bulls earlier in the summer, has joined Barnet on trial. Bradford have taken Barnsley defender Paul Heckingbottom on loan until January. The 30 year old spent the 2003/4 season at Valley Parade before moving to Sheff Weds.
