Jeannin's corners help Oxford

Former Hereford United defender Alex Jeannin helped his new club Oxford United to a 3-1 win against Didcot this afternoon.

Two corners from Jeannin in the second half found Robery Duffy who scored two goals for Qxford. Earlier a decent cross from Jeannin had met Pettefer who headed narrowly wide.

Jeannin took corners from both sides.

Meanwhile there was no sign of Simon Travis, another ex-Hereford United player, at Oxford this afternoon. It had been reported that he was on trial at the club but this has since been discounted.

Finally another former Bull Andy Williams played for all of the second period in Bristol Rovers 5-2 defeat of Bath City last night.
