According to this morning's Western Daily Press, Bristol Rovers remain on the trail of Hereford United forward Andy Williams.
Out of contract at the end of last season, the 20-year-old has been offered a new deal at Edgar Street.
But talks with the Pirates are believed to be at an advanced stage and Williams could even be a Rovers player by the end of this week.
On June 7th, last Thursday, the WDP reported that Bristol Rovers are finally on the brink of landing Hereford United striker Andy Williams. The 20-year-old marksman has already been in talks with the Pirates and is expected to finalise personal terms in the next few days.
Reading between the lines it appears that talks with Williams are taking longer than expected.
