The Western Daily Press is reporting that Bristol Rovers are still attempting to sign Andy Williams.
The club had identified Bristol City's Phil Jevons as their main striker target. City manager Gary Johnson described the suggestions as "cheap journalism" and Rovers are now being linked again to 20 year old Williams.
Rovers had a £150,000 bid accepted by the Bulls in January, but Williams rejected the move as a sideways step. The newly promoted club, combined with the undercurrent of unrest highlighted by recent departures from the Bulls squad, may prompt the youth team product to make the move.
