Rob Purdie has signed for Darlington, the Quakers have confirmed.
Manager Dave Penney announced: "Rob is exactly the sort of player we are looking for to take this football club forward. Although a midfielder he can play virtually anywhere on the pitch.
The squad is starting to come together and I expect the new faces to make a real impact. We've got some quality in the squad now and I certainly don't rule out there being more additions before the start of the season."
A contract length has not yet been revealed. Purdie made over 200 appearances in five years at Edgar Street, playing in a variety of positions across the pitch. He is the current Player of the Year.
