News Round Up

Mansfield have added striker John McAliskey and utility man Dan Martin. McAliskey was released by Huddersfield, and played against the Bulls in a disappointing loan spell at Wrexham last September, while Martin played over 50 times for Notts County over two seasons before slipping out of the first team picture in January.

Chesterfield have signed veteran Kevin Gray following his release from Carlisle. The 35 year old centre back has clocked up over 600 appearances for a string of clubs, and previously played with manager Lee Richardson.

Chester sold 648 season tickets in the period to May 31st, which is roughly the same as the total figure last season. The deal includes six free matches, plus free entry to all first and second round Carling Cup, FA Cup, and Johnstones Paint Trophy home matches.
