Macmillan Renton Appeal close to £1.1m

This morning we received the following letter from Ron Davies MBE, the Herefordshire Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Thank you so much for the wonderful donation of £13364.67 and all the hard work that went into raising the money. When you told Lynda how much you had raised we were absolutely overwhelmed.

As you know last Friday evening was a celebration of reaching the £1m mark in the Appeal and during my speech of thanks I was able to announce to the audience your generous donation, which was met with rapturous applause and puts us well on the way to £1.1m.

It is only thanks to people like you that Macmillan is able to give support to patients and their families and move a step closer to our vision of the very best cancer care for all.
