The York newspaper, the Press, have a list of players they feel might be targets for York City football club this coming season. Two Hereford United players are in their top ten.
Alex Jeannin - cultured 29-year-old French left-back who played more games than any other Hereford player as the Bulls ended nine years outside the Football League in 2005/2006. Lost his place last Christmas though and has been deemed surplus to requirements by Graham Turner, although he is still a favourite at Edgar Street. Started his career in England with Darlington so might not be adverse to a return to North Yorkshire.
Simon Travis - yet to sign a new deal at Hereford and the versatile defender/midfielder could be tempted back into the Conference following previous spells with Stevenage, Forest Green Rovers and Telford as well as the Bulls. Still plenty to offer at the age of 30.
Travis was linked with Stockport late last season.
