Altrincham earn a reprieve for a second successive season after staying up 12 months ago as Scarboro were kicked out. Alty, who operate on a strict budget which is believed to be amongst the smallest in the top flight of non-league, have steered themselves away from near bankruptcy five years ago with chairman Geoff Goodwin telling the Messenger: "I do feel sorry for Boston but that's football isn't it? It's justice for us because we have aimed to do the right thing at this club, rather than running it into debt to chase the dream."
