Graham Turner has spoken about ongoing contract negotiations and transfer dealings with the official site.
He confirms meetings with four different players over the past weekend and that he has increased the offer to Andy Williams with Bristol Rovers again believed to be circling the player, however none of the players are yet to sign prior to the June 19th deadline.
Turner notes in the interview that he is wary of bringing the wrong 'characters' to the club adding that he was 'doing thorough checks on one or two players' prior to moving forward, and acknowledged that there were problems amongst the players at the end of season. He also talks about his disappointment over the contribution made by Phil Gulliver, adding that he would be better suited to the Conference.
Off the field, Turner reported season tickets as going 'reasonably well' as is advertising, which the club has increased in cost for the second season running, and he also talks about the ongoing upgrading of facilities at Edgar Street.
