Oxford were the only side to score in the first legs of the Conference play-offs on Friday night.
Danny Rose scored a deflected effort from inside the box as Oxford, with ex-Bull Chris Hargreaves, beat Exeter, with Adam Stansfield, by a single goal. In the other game, York and Morecambe drew 0-0 with Craig Stanley featuring for the Shrimps.
The second legs are both live on Sky, on Monday and Tuesday next week.
