Shrewsbury's Guide to Hereford

Edgar Street welcomes our friends from Shrewsbury for Saturday’s 12-noon kick-off by offering the whole of the Blackfriars terrace in addition to the usual seats in the Floors To Go stand and the terrace below. Plenty of room therefore to house the visiting thousands following what must have been a humiliating defeat at the hands of lowly Wrexham on Tuesday evening. For the benefit of those travelling from the frozen north, parking is available in a large car park right next to the ground alleviating the need for a park and ride expedition. Coracles should be moored near the Rowing Club. Strangely, there are also a good number of Pubs and other “in town” facilities within easy walking distance of the stadium. Once inside the ground, you will find that the view is as good as it is at most football arenas despite not having a high wire fence to squint through. Both toilets and refreshments are available to the rear of the terracing. Whilst the match is “all-ticket” for visiting supporters, we do hope you will bring a few shillings to purchase programmes and half time draw tickets as we did when visiting Gay Meadow.

Enjoy your day. ExLandlord (Tongue firmly in cheek)
