A full list of Boston's creditors has been released, showing the club owes more than £3million.
Current owners Lavaflow and the HMRC are owed over 80% of the debt between them though, curiously, the prospective new owners Standing Alone Ltd do not appear in the list despite claiming that they recently pumped £250,000 into the club. Manager Steve Evans has questioned the existence of the money after his players were left unpaid.
However the list may not yet be finalised, with landlords the Malkinson family also not shown despite them taking action to evict the club over £400,000 in unpaid rent. The club have also failed to pay rent on the training ground, owing the Boston Gliderdome over £250,000.
The Football League have spoken about their retention of a £100,000 payment due to the club: "The Football League met recently with Boston United to discuss the club's financial position.
"As in previous cases of this kind, the league has withheld the advance payment of central distributions, worth approximately £100,000, due to the current uncertainties, as well as the club's outstanding debts to the league and fellow clubs. The club will be meeting with its creditors this week and we continue to monitor the situation closely."
