Bristol Rovers will play their home games at either Cheltenham or Swindon when their ground redevelopment goes ahead.
Their board today ruled out any Bristol venue, or their former home at Bath - citing a particularly poor playing surface. The club will now poll supporters on their preferred choice while the Police are consulted and financial issues are discussed.
In other news, Rochdale have demanded an apology from the local Observer paper. The paper claimed their bank accounts had been frozen, and players wages left unpaid, following action from the Inland Revenue. The club have assured supporters that the threat from the IR has been dealt with and that the accounts were never frozen.
