Ex-Bull Watch

Gavin Mahon saw his Watford side bow out of the FA Cup with a 4-1 loss to Man Utd. If they had won it would have seen an ex-Bull in all three FA finals at Wembley, with Tom Smith in the FA Vase for Truro, and Brian Smikle in the FA Trophy with Kidderminster.

Paul Parry and John Eustace met at Ninian Park as their respective Cardiff and Stoke sides drew 1-1. Michael McIndoe was sacrificed at half time for another defender as ten man Wolves held on to beat Crystal Palace 2-0.

Neil Mackenzie was a starter in the Scunthorpe side that guaranteed their place in the Championship next season with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield. David Brown made a rare appearance, and set up a goal, with a sub appearance as Accrington beat Grimsby to virtually secure their league status.
