Despite reports from the Bristol press that he was to join Bath City on loan, Marcus Palmer was alive and scoring for Hereford United at Westfields this evening. (Full report shortly)
Whether he will move remains to be seen, but his performance this evening was a highlight in an otherwise unspectatular performance by the Bulls who eventually won the cup-tie 6-1.
Youngster Craig Jones was a substitute for Hereford in the second half.
Meanwhile Andy Ferrell (pictured talking to one of his fans) could be out for the rest of the season.
Ferrell, who moved to Kidderminster on loan last week, pulled his hamstring in training yesterday.
UPDATE Wed: Ferrell has returned to Edgar Street for physio according to Sky
