The Football League are considering implementing a penalty shootout at the end of draws to hand out the 'missing' third point. The move has already had several notable names speak out against it.
MK Dons have released veteran defender Paul Butler. The former Eire international had been commuting from his Leeds home but was unhappy with the travelling. Boston have signed Huddersfield defender John McCombe on loan for a month. Notts County have loaned defender Dan Gleeson to Cambridge until the end of the season. Gleeson was released by Cambridge in the summer. County will also loan Junior Mendes to Lincoln.
Peterboro have linked up with Norwegian side Kvinesdal IL and Swedish side Kalmar in order to exchange youngsters and ideas. The club are also speaking to sides in Belguim and Spain over similar links. Barnet have transfer listed midfielder Nicky Bailey after accepting a transfer request from the player. He was Paul Fairclough's first signing at the club and has been a regular ever since.
