Former Hereford United left back, Michael Rose, is expected to be out for up to six months after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament in the Stockport/Rochdale game last Saturday.
Rose limped off after 52 minutes of the game.
He is due to meet the club's surgeon, the aptly named Mr Turner, and an operation will follow.
