Not a day goes by when something else threatens Boston's existence, and this time former chairman Pat Malkinson is trying to evict the club for non-payment of rent.
Malkinson retained ownership of the ground when he left as chairman, but the club are now seven months behind on rent payment and Malkinson is seeking a court order to evict the troubled club.
"This is not the first time court proceedings have been issued against the club over the non-payment of rent. The first time the rent was met, but following the second occasion, it is still outstanding. The club is seven months behind." a spokesman for Malkinson said. A court date has been set for April 26th: "The Malkinsons will be seeking forfeiture of the lease unless the outstanding rent is met before the hearing on April 26."
