The reserve friendly being played behind closed doors at Edgar Street this lunchtime is understood to have attracted scouts from Arsenal.
Cardiff City are the visitors and, according to the Western Mail, scouts will be present following the progress of the game.
In particular they are said to be interested in Lester Peltier, a teenage midfield player from Trinidad and Tobago, who is making his Cardiff City debut today.
The 18-year-old from San Juan Tabloteh FC is in his second week on trial at Ninian Park.
Meanwhile the Hereford United side includes Stuart Fleetwood, now back from Accrington, and a couple of trailists.
