Wrexham's manager Denis Smith has been sacked.
Smith lasted just over five years in the job, gaining promotion in his first full season and also winning the LDV Trophy in 2005. Brian Carey will take over at the Racecourse.
Meanwhile Mansfield's chairman has resigned. Peter Lee was only appointed at the end of last season.
In a statement Mansfield's Chief Executive Keith Haslam said that the 'job became too much for Peter to deal with because of the negative publicity caused by certain sections of supporters, and this created more work than Peter had anticipated.'
Mansfield travel to Hereford on Saturday.
