The Hereford United official site is reporting that the club have signed Danny Thomas from Shrewsbury on non-contract terms.
Midfielder Thomas, 25, was a trainee with Rob Purdie at Leicester and has since spent two seasons each at Bournemouth and Boston before joining the Shrews in the summer. He has racked up over 100 first team starts and over 50 substitute appearances, scoring 13 times. More recently, he featured for the Shrews when they beat the Bulls 3-0 last month but has been a bit part player at the Gay Meadow this season.
The official site also reports that Ben Smith has signed a two and a half year deal.
