Bulls target Luke Rodgers has rejected overtures from Swindon Town, but has three League One sides still chasing his signature.
Leyton Orient manager Martin Ling was open about his desire to sign the Crewe forward and the club are believed to have lodged a five figure offer for the player below Crewe's £30,000 valuation. Port Vale and Chesterfield are both also interested but both are believed to be waiting on movement within their own squad before making a definite offer.
In other news, Torquay have added former midfielder Leon Hapgood to their squad. The one-time apprentice at Plainmoor was released in 1999, and has toured various south west non-league clubs since then. Scarboro have been given council permission to build a new stadium and sell their old one for development. Their current stadium is on 20 years old.
