Former Hereford United left back Mark Robinson is moving to Torquay.
Although initially on a weeks trial, the move is expected to be for the rest of the season or a transfer.
Meanwhile another former Bull, Gavin Williams, looks set to stay at Ipswich after they put a £1 million price tag on him.
Swansea, amidst others, were said to be interested in him but their chairman said the price was too high.
According to the Welsh press Williams thought he might have to leave Portman Road after he and some team-mates upset boss Jim Magilton by going to Amsterdam without permission over New Year.
