Macclesfield's great run ended

Macclesfield Town's run of good results came to an end last Saturday when they were defeated 1-0 at Barnet.

Next Saturday Hereford United are the vistors to the MossRose and assistant manager Ray Mathias is hoping for a return to winning ways for Paul Ince's team.

"It's a massive game against Hereford because we need to start getting results again like we have for the last ten or so games. The lads have done fantastically recently so we can't have a go or shout and scream. We had a sensible talk to them and told them to get going again and start another good run to get us up the table, because we've got players capable of doing that."

For Hereford Phil Gulliver is also hoping for a return to winning ways.

"The past few games when we've been beaten we've always come back quite strongly," he said.

Clive Oliver from Northumberland will referee the game.
