Stanley Announce Small Profit

Accington Stanley have announced a small profit from their Conference winning season.

Stanley have recorded a profit of £30,277 from turnover of £667,846. They estimate turnover to be in the region of £1m this season, with a playing budget of around £600,000. Only Boston are known to have a smaller budget this season at £575,000, with the Bulls' budget estimated to be £750,000.

An article on the official Accrington website claims that the average wage of a Stanley player is half the average of a League Two player, and the article acknowledges that poor attendances and limited income from other sources are stopping the club from developing further. The last accounts available for the Bulls show a turnover nearly £500,000 higher than that of Accrington.
