Shrewsbury Town are still optimistic that Saturday's game will still go ahead despite forecasts on the weather worsening.

Original forecasts of light rain and sunshine have been replaced with light rain and showers, and the pumping operation to drain the pitch is not expected to start until tomorrow according to the official Shrewsbury site.

Meanwhile, should the game go ahead, Shrews defender Danny Hall will miss the game after collecting a one match ban for five yellow cards.
