Purdie loses out to Jevons

Hereford United's Rob Purdie has lost out to Bristol City striker Phil Jevons in the FA Cup "Player of the Round" for the second round.

27-year-old Jevon who scored a first-half hat-trick in City's 4-3 victory over Gillingham at Ashton Gate, polled nearly 51% of supporters' votes.

Purdie, who scored twice for the Bulls against Port Vale, came second with 21% of the vote.
