Alex Jeannin, Hereford United's French wing-back, would love to have another chance at playing against a Premiership side in the FA Cup. When he was at Exeter City he played twice against Manchester United in the third round.
"Those two games are among the most memorable of my career," Jeannin told the Western Daily Press.
"I was up against Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford and then in the replay at St James' Park."
Jeannin has had a difficult start to this season as he missed the first three games through suspension.
"It meant by the time the suspension was over I was out of the squad.
"Quite a few of our players had never played in the Football League and naturally they were hungry to get into the starting line-up.
"I had to work hard in training and wait for my chance to get back into the team.
"Playing wing-back is a hard position to play, you are alternating between defence and attack all the time and have to do a lot of running off the ball.
"We will have to keep focused to get through to the third round and, who knows, it may be Manchester United."
