Following impressive victories against the combined teams of Halesowen and Stourbridge 2-0 and Brierley and Dudley 1-0, Hereford Schools U15 face their next opponants Solihull on Wednesday evening at Pegasus FC ground. Kick Off 7.00 pm.
A win will put them into the last sixteen of the English Schools FA Trophy. This is a remarkable acheivement considering they are unable to train together due to most players having other commitments (a few are with League clubs - Cheltenham, Shrewsbury). Sadly, since the demise of the Herefordshire FA School of Excellence, there is nothing locally for youngsters to attend. The present squad is coached by Paul Shannon who teaches at St Marys and Dan Jones who is at Wigmore High. They have named the following players for Wednesday nights clash:-
