Paul Ince has signed a one year deal as player-coach of Swindon Town after the Football League agreed to a refinancing package proposed by the club.
Ex-England international Ince, 38, will be unavailable for the weekend clash with Chester but will link up with his new teammates next week.
In other transfer not yet reported, Walsall have loaned rookie Graham Deakin to Tamworth, ex-Premiership defender Nicky Eaden has joined Lincoln on loan from Nottm Forest, Shrewsbury have signed Michael Symes on a free transfer from Bradford, and Ville Vaisanen has joined Darlington from FF Jaro in Finland subject to international clearance.
