Fleetwood's hat-trick wins game for Bulls

Hereford United ran out 3-1 winners over Coventry City in the Carling Cup tie this evening.

Stuart Fleetwood scored all three Hereford goals, the first hat-trick by a Bulls player since David Brown put three past Dagenham in the 03/04 season. Steve Guinan also scored a hat-trick that season against Harrow in the FA Cup.

Fleetwood was interviewed on Sky after the game and said how pleased he was with his first hat-trick in professional football.

Coventry manager Micky Adams said it was an embarrassment.

The draw for round two will be shown by Sky on Saturday at lunchtime.

Twelve Premiership clubs come into the draw for the second round. They are Aston Villa, Bolton, Charlton, Everton, Fulham, Man City, Middlesborough, Portsmouth, Reading, Sheffield United, Watford and Wigan.
