Consensual agreement not to give Turner Freeman honour.

Hereford Council have decided not to nominate Graham Turner for the honour of becoming an Honorary Freeman of Hereford.

Commenting on the decision director Grenville Smith told the Hereford Times that it was a 'shame' that Turner could not be honoured in some way by the city.

"We were in dire straits when Graham took the helm and he has turned the club around.

"To many people Hereford United is Herefordshire - one of the biggest attractions the city and county has got."
