Morecambe have announced that they have released Jimmy Harvey from his contract.
Harvey became manager in July 1994 after a six month spell as assistant. It is now believed that Sammy McIlroy will continue as manager at Morecambe.
Harvey earned a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder at Edgar Street, spending seven years with the Bulls.
