Who will go up with the Milkmen?

Square Football Net has published this short article about which team might go up to Division Two next season:

Just like last season there are a bunch of teams jostling for position in the Conference behind runaway leaders. Last season it was Barnet and this time Accrington Stanley appear to have the automatic promotion place sewn up barring a 'Devon Loch' collapse.

There are now effectively seven sides battling for the four play-off berths and the chance to join Stanley in the Football League. Yet again Hereford are almost certain to be in the shake-up after falling just short in the past two seasons. The Bulls are the favourites to come through but the memory of the previous failures hangs over them and the value would seem to lie with other sides.

If confidence is the key then Grays Athletic have to be looked at seriously. The Essex side have just reached their second successive FA Trophy Final, so their record in knockout football is second to none. Grays don't have the memory of past failures to contend with and they have come through a sticky patch of form to get back into the play-off reckoning.

Grays actually won at Accrington on Saturday and they seem to be building the momentum required for the run in. Stevenage and Halifax are both in play off berths at present with the former seeking to go one better than last year when Carlisle beat them in the Play-Off Final.

Also in the hunt are York, Morecambe and Exeter City who were many people?s choices to be champions at the start of the campaign. If the Grecians do get into the top 5 - and that isn't certain - they would have the chance to turn around what has been a disappointing season.

Latest Odds from Bet 365:

Hereford 6/4
Grays 5/2
Halifax 7/2
Stevenage 5/1
York 7/1
Morecambe 8/1
Exeter 16/1
