Clubs Tie Players On Contracts

Both Dagenham and Burton have tied up the services of some of their players on longer contracts.

Dagenham have signed Sam Saunders and Paul Benson on new two year deals, and have agreed a three year deal with Scott Griffiths. Manager John Still is also expected to sign a new two year deal within weeks.

Burton have now tied up the majority of their squad for next season and coach Andy Garner expects the Brewers to strengthen more for next season after the signing of Daryl Clare, telling the NLP: "Daryl's a big signing for us. He's on a big wage but there should still be some money for a couple more in the summer. We've now tied down all our players for next season with the exception being goalkeeper Saul Deeney. We expect him to put pen to paper very soon". Burton are also rumoured to be chasing former keeper Matt Duke, currently third choice at Hull.

The Bulls, by comparison, currently have just three players tied to the club for next season.
