Mixed success for Coldicott

Stacy Coldicott started training with Hereford United yesterday after his return from Cambridge where he has been on-loan for the past four weeks.

The idea of the loan spell was to help Coldicott's return to fitness and to relieve Cambridge several of whose mid-field players were suffering from injury problems.

The following comes from the Official Cambridge United Website:

The 31-year-old former WBA and Grimsby midfielder was signed on a month's loan to provide experienced cover for the injured Ritchie Hanlon.

Recovering from a long-term injury himself, Coldicott had mixed success in the four games he played for United and did not feature in Saturday's draw at Tamworth, which was the final game of his loan spell.

Hanlon made his comeback in that match following a knee operation in January.
