Minimum requirement is to make play-offs

Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, has reiterated his view that the minimum requirement this season is to make the play-offs.

Interviewed on BBC Hereford and Worcester, Turner said there was still plenty of competition for those four play-off places.

He hopes that his squad will get at least four points from the two next games, Morecambe tomorrow and away again at Gravesend on Tuesday.

"Morecambe is never easy, Gravesend is never easy, so what we need is Accrington to just drop points. I think they have three consecutive away matches, so they will be thinking the same that four points from two matches would be a good return for them, before coming to us," said Turner.

"What we need is perhaps for Aldershot to beat them and knock them back a little bit."

As of late this afternoon, one Conference game (Scarborough versus Canvey) has been postponed because of frost.
