Turner comments on Coldicott move

The Hereford United manager, Graham Turner, has commented to BBC Hereford and Worcester about the move of Stacy Coldicott to Cambridge United on a months loan.

"They are desperate for a mid-fielder. We've got that luxury of having one or two to select from, and the possibility of another one coming in.

"So it gives me the opportunity of letting him go to Cambridge. Get some good quality matches in to get into full match fitness.

"And I would hope, when he comes back in a months time, he can still play a big part for us between then and the end of the season."

There is still no definite news about who could be coming to Edgar Street. Speculation continues that Stuart MacDonald of Swansea may be the player.

He featured for much of the Swans FAW Cup game at Carmarthen last night and impressed several pundits who were reporting on the game.

Meanwhile Turner has also commented about Sky Sports televising the home game against Stevenage on Monday Feb 27th. Hereford United will receive £5,000 for having the cameras at Edgar Street.

"I like playing under lights at Edgar Street because I think we get a better atmosphere," Turner told the Hereford Times.

"We also can't complain about the move because of all the good work done by Sky in raising the profile of Conference football."
