Hereford United defeated Scarborough 1-0 this afternoon and move up to fifth place in the Conference table until Monday evening when Halifax and Morecambe meet. Both teams are on the same number of points as the Bulls. Stansfield put the Bulls one up after ten minutes.
Craig Stanley with a good ball forward to Stansfield who passed several defenders and was one on one with keeper and just got the ball into the net.
However as the first half went on the game has become quite scrappy with the Bulls tending to sit back. Late in the first half Brown and Jeannin appeared to have a disagreement which resulted in Brown reacting to Jeannin. Several other Hereford players intervened.
Ingram booked after 53 minutes. Mid-way through second-half Andy Williams came on for Danny Carey-Bertram. Tamika Mkandawire went very close from a Rob Purdie corner. Simon Travis replaced by Ryan Green on 75 minutes.

Weather at Scarborough was cold and drizzley and the pitch was said to be muddy. Around 100 Hereford fans at the game.
