The following article appears on Sky Sports:
League Two side Barnet are expected to step up their interest in Hereford United striker Danny Carey-Bertram with a firm offer this week
Although the 21-year-old striker has only found the net once in eight appearances this season, he is still considered one of Non-League's hottest prospects having notched 16 goals in 26 starts for The Bulls.
Carey-Bertram increased his profile under the nose of Paul Fairclough in last season's Nationwide Conference fixture between Hereford United and Barnet at Underhill last March.
The young striker scored one of his side's goals in a 2-0 win for The Bulls; one of only three home defeats for the North London side in their Conference-winning season.
Should a deal for Carey-Bertram fall through, other possible targets include York City's in-form young striker Andy Bishop and wantaway Stevenage Borough hit-man Anthony Elding.
