Hereford United manager Graham Turner was pleased with the win at Halifax yesterday.
"Halifax have not lost at home all season and that shows what a significant result this was for us," Turner told the Non-League Paper.
"We contained them and there was a solidness in our performance."
Meanwhile the reserve game against Kidderminster arranged for tomorrow is expected to go ahead as neither club is involved with mid-week games. There is speculation that both clubs will have a couple of trialists in their squads.
Finally Paul Fairclough is expected to name his preliminary squad for the next English Non-League game tomorrow.
The match, against Italy, is due to take place on February 15th at Cambridge.
