Conference Results Round Up

Accrington remain top, and stretch their lead to eight points, after a single goal victory at home to Cambridge. Second placed Exeter needed a last minute goal at Morecambe to get a 2-2 draw. Grays (3rd) came from behind with two Aaron McLean goals to see off York (8th) 2-1.

Stevenage collected the award for bad result of the day, losing 1-0 at home to bottom club Southport and having Ronnie Henry sent off again. They now average a red card every three Conference games. Halifax (7th) lost 3-1 at Aldershot, with new signing Leroy Griffiths scoring twice. Kidderminster beat Scarboro 2-1 for their second straight win, only the second time they've managed that this season, and Woking and Burton drew 1-1.

Dagenham beat Tamworth 2-1 thanks to two Chris Moore goals, and Guy Madjo bagged two in Forest Green's 5-0 win over 10 man Altrincham - their third five nil loss of the season. In Friday's game, Gravesend beat Canvey 2-0 despite playing most of the second half with 10 men.

Our prospective LDV opponents, Macclesfield, were thumped 5-0 at Northampton in their League Two clash.
